No problem.
I know it is still all in development so changes Ben makes will muck up your plans at times.
Good luck sorting out out.

I have lost my ship (I didn't record the ship id) and the contents of my inventory. :x
the ship was modified to be a more rectangular shape with a few other changes from the normal laser.

Now I am stuck in a door trying to get to my secure crate in the storage building.

I am finding it a bit too unforgiving with the log in death issue.

Please help?
If you can get me out of the door that would be great.
(kill me is fine I have nothing but my mallet and my caps at the moment anyhow)

If there is any way to get me back to my ship that would be appreciated, but because I can't supply my ship ID I realise this may not be possible.

Hi, I have sent you a PM but I think you haven't seen it so I answer you here.
If you give me more informations about your ship I can park it at the New Port docks (for example if it is made of copper or something like that).
About the door problem: have you tried to right-click everywhere around you to open the door? You can't use < /die >? If you can't manage to do that the only solution that comes in my mind is to open it for you.

By now I think I have solved the problems caused by the last update (death on log in included) but I would like to be sure of that so it is likely that we will meet on the server in the next days and I can give you some items back.

I have escaped my imprisonment.

I found that every time I logged out and logged in I was a block higher in the wall - eventually I came out on the roof.

I have noticed however that there are parts of the buildings missing.
So I think that the Town has corrupted on the server.

Nice escape plan! :D
That happened because I had to adjust the player spawn one point higher than the default as it could happen that if you spawn on a wood decking you are moved down until there are no collisions (and that usually ends with you falling to land). I'll check the corrupted chunks thing later.

Hi Molotov.
Hope you had a nice lunch! ;)
is there any way to script a toggle for the "safe edges" (shift) key so we don't have to hold it down when exploring dangerous places?

Also I somehow got my ship wedged into the dock - Would you mind to un-stick it for me...

The broken block falls through the floor seems still an issue, but I guess that will only fix once Ben gives out the server updates.

Thanks.
Keep up the great work.

Hi, I suppose you got your ship stucked that way due the no fly zone bounce so I have rewrote it and I have placed your ship at the docks (I hope no one damaged or moved it since I couldn't park it for you).

We think the safe edge thing respects the realism concept that we are trying to implement with HomeWorld (something like if you are paying attention at the edge you are pressing shift) so that is not giong to change.

See you soon!

Thanks for rescuing my ship.
I got it back in one piece.
Later though ...

I had the fell to ground thing again.
Logged in and was stuck in a block.
Re-logged
'Fell to ground' back to spawn. :(

I had to go find my ship again.
I tried to place an energy well but couldn't do it at the docks.
Is there any place in town that we can do that to make our own ship?

It seems I must look into the 'Fell to the ground' again.
You can't place an Energy Well when you are in a settlement, considering that they are the most expensive component of a Laser you can get one for a few Caps if you have an Energy Well in your inventory. (see < /ask build [Ship Name] >)

So i right-clicked the energy well of my ship, and it was slowly but completely destroyed. Wtf? I lost my speed 10 ship and my inventory, including 40 coal.

Location: Right above your ship.

Right click an energy well and it turns off. The ship will then sink.
Unless it lands on an island it will sink below a certain height and the ship will fall apart.

Sorry to hear you lost your stuff. Have you got enough currency for another?

If not try and work for the lumber jack to get enough.
